Hey Mei, doing any sort of physical activity whether it be dancing or martial arts will take your mind off of things as well as release dopamine, which is the feel good hormone.
Also remember that high school is such a very small part of your life and sooner rather than later you will be off to college and no one will even know about
your past unless you decide to tell them.
You are probably a lot more mature than people your age and they don't always think about
your feelings before they say something, but as you get older people are a lot more caring and think twice before saying something that might upset you. =)
I too, and I think everyone in our shoes who has gone through with Ileostomy surgery has been depressed at some point but as time passes you learn to live with the cards you were dealt in life and make the best of it.
As a previous person asked, is this a permanent Ileostomy or a temp as you wait for possible Jpouch surgery?
