I've been having problems with my stoma recently. It appears to be to small, so the bag won't stay on for more than a few hours. It stays if I lay down straight. But if I sit or do any activity that involves bending it leaks. Idk what to do. This is frustrating , and thanks for your help.

you could try a convex wafer, I believe they sort of push the stoma out a bit, so that the wafer has more to "grab" onto. Is your stoma perm or temp? I'd also try some sort of seal/paste around the stoma, before you put on the wafer- that should help stop leaks, even with movement. I use Eakin seals, & have also used strip paste. They both do the trick pretty well.

I'll try it but idk if it will help. My stoma is no bigger than 1/3 of an inch and is temporary. Thank you for taking your time to respond

Hey Ricardo, if it sticks out 1/3 of an inch there should be no problem keeping an appliance attached. Eva Lou's suggestion about an Eakin seal makes lots of sense. There should be no space between the wafer and the stoma. If there is it must be protected by something like Cavilon barrier film so your skin doesn't get messed up.
