Woke up w/ lots of abdominal pain, only when I stand/walk--HELP

Not sure yet whether to call the doc. Feeling embarrassed about calling cuz it's only there in my abdomen when I am standing or walking, sitting or laying down I'm ok. It can't be anything serious then, right??

Pain is mostly right side, my ostomy is left side, pain just sort of like one giant cramp, sort of radiates across to the left a tiny bit. Like the kind of feeling you get if you haven't eaten in a really long time, but instead of in my stomach, it's the right side, above my hip.

Haven't been having tons of output, but enough. None since last night though. Seems too early to make a call about what the hell is going on. I'm just a bit freaked out and unsure of what to do.

I tried to tough it out after my take-down thinking that the pain that I had was normal during recovery. But it wasn't, I started to develop a small abscess near my surgical site. The pain would come on real bad and then go away completely especially when I walked around. I also had an intermittent fever.

I'm not saying that you have an abscess but I'm trying to make the point that it is important not to be embarrassed to report pains to your doctor because it could actually be something or nothing at all but it is important to report it.
