I guess I'm the dissenting voice- I say don't change it, unless you actually see a leak, stuff seeping out form under the wafer edges. I change as infrequently as possible, every 6-7 days. Right after surgery, I changed on like Day 3 or 4, when I got home, & the WOCN I was working with said "That's too soon!". The more frequently you change, the more irritated your skin is going to be. I know it's hard right now, cause it's new & weird, but leave it alone unless you truly leak! And it will itch, tingle, etc. from time to time- that's just nerves regenerating post-op, not necessarily a leak. I think all of us have sworn we had a leak because of tingly/itchies, & we take everything off & it's fine, no leak.
