It happened to me when i was anemic and when I was on steroids. I haven't had it since surgery. After step 1, things were, pretty much, a breeze for me. my stoma was great and functioned really well, I didn't empty that often and the output wasn't liquid so it was easy to manage and I got great wear time with the wafers. You have that to loo forward to after step 1. I took no medication once I was off painkillers. I was only on them for a few days due to them making me feel sick.
After step 2, I've been battling low blood pressure and dehydration. I am also taking immodium but nothing else - for me, that is a huge win because i was taking up to 10 pills a day before surgery + infusions. I am taking it one day at a time and looking forward to the next step :) You should have improvement in the Tachycardia after the flare up subside.
