Leakage where bag meets flange

YES! I know EXACTLY what you're talking about- I use Hollister 2 piece also, & over the summer, I notied that same type of leak. After closer inspection- it's defective wafers! If you look at the backside of the wafer really close, when it's on you & attached to a bag- you'll see a TINY spot where the clear plastic (back of the flange) separates from the wafer- allowing a tiny pinprick leak. I called Hollister & gave them the lot #, etc- figured it was a fluke. But, lo & behold- same thing happened with another wafer just a week ago. Instead of putting on a whole new setup, I've been using duct tape- seriously, I tear off tiny strips, & secure the backside of the plastic to the flange- it works great! Now I do my duct tape trick before I even put a new wafer on.

It does stink.. I love Hollister myself, find them to be the most comfortable, long-wearing, etc. And it's not every wafer that leaks, just some here & there... I double check them, & duct tape as needed.  Which actually works surprisingly well- no leak, no odor, etc. Good luck with coloplast!

I always wore hollister too and I never had that happen. I did however have it happen once with a convatec 2 piece. I didn't click it on all the way and in the middle of the night I woke up and noticed it was slowly leaking onto the wafer. I caught it before it was a big problem. After that I would go crazy clicking it on, pushing all around over and over. With the hollister I didn't have to do that. It sounds like what Eva said is probably the case, defective wafers...
