Has anyone ever stopped their ssdi and gone back to work? If so, I would like to know how you do it and what kind of questions they ask you. I am kind of worried because of this: When I had my original surgery I had a lot of complications and I couldn't sit for over 2 years. My butt wound was not healing. Well after some time it did end up healing but I now have short bowel syndrome and fibromyalgia, which is unrelated to my ssdi diagnosis. All of my past work experience is construction and heavy lifting and I have been trying to find office jobs so that I am near a bathroom. I have been applying just about every single day. I finally got a job and I start tomorrow. Do they ask you specific questions about your disability or can I just say I am ready to go back to work and that's that? I am just worried they will ask and want me to pay back the money that was helping me survive while I was trying to get back on my feet. I've been googling like crazy with no luck.
