I had one blockage, about 6 months after I got my stoma. Sounds a bit like what you had, I had no output & could feel my stoma straining to push out stuff. Like yours, mine cleared during the night from some combination of whatever I was trying (hot drinks, massaging, hot water bottle, walking, etc). I panicked the next morning when I saw the size of my stoma and rang my nurse, who came to see me, more for reassurance than anything else! She advised me to eat a diet like what I had in the few weeks after surgery for a few days, to give my insides a rest. And to drink a couple of sachets of rehydration solution (whatever you normally use) a day for a few days too. My stoma gradually went down in size, probably took about 3 days to be fully back to normal. I changed my bag each day to make sure the wafer was cut big enough for it. The pain took about 3 days or so to go too; my nurse likened it to being kicked in the stomach, which is how it felt for me! But after the first day, it was much less. Take it easy, and I hope it eases soon - it's really horrible when it happens!
