benzoin tincture

Well, this is my second bottle I bought since my operation six years ago. What I didn't notice on the bottle is that it says ORAL. Did I purchase the right stuff?

I just checked mine and it says it can be used on oral mucosa for canker sores raw tissue from braces. Mine is the one that Edgepark sells and I think the item # polishdan posted awhile back.

I had heard before it is used as a waterproof seal for canker sores.

Doesn't Edgepark have to check with your doctor before they let the order go through? They even had to do that before sending me the adhesive remover wipes . Not only that fact, but, they charge ridiculous amounts for the products. God knows what they are charging Medicare for the tincture. I wouldn't be surprised if it were a hundred bucks. I mentioned this to them when ordering. I know what they do and what the medical profession, in general, are doing. They are charging large amounts for services, products knowing Medicare only pays a certain amount and then they use the amount not paid as a tax write off.

Cupcakegirl....are you on Medicare yet? Before I went on Medicare, at age 65, I noticed Edgepark billed Personal Choice a reasonable amount. As soon as Medicare kicked in, the prices went up...what's with that? I mentioned it to the girl one time when I was ordering and she never gave me an honest answer.

Ok....I just placed my order with Edgepark and was informed that they have to get the doctor's ok for the tincture because of Medicare...what a pain in the tuccus!
