Significant decrease in stoma output, but feel fine

Hi,

Has anyone experienced changes in their stoma output with no other problems?

My hubby's stoma usually works like clockwork and he has to empty it about 5-6 times a day. For the last two days, his output has decreased significantly (he has only emptied it twice per day). I was worried it was a blockage and he did have some of the symptoms for a few hours (pain and nauseous), but they disappeared yesterday and he says he feels fine, no pain or nauseous just a decrease in output.

Really appreciate any help.

Hubby is back to normal now. It was only on the weekend, his output was low for two days and then just became normal again. It was very strange.

I've had the same thing happen a couple of times, though no nausea or any pain/cramps. The last time, it happened two days in a row. Heck, I just enjoyed not having to empty but just three times that day - LOL! Not sure why it happened, but it would be nice if we could take a pill to slow things down like that once and a while.
