How vulnerable (not that I would want to ever be a guinea pig) is the stoma if someone bumps into you or you ram into the corner of a table or something? Thanks!
I'm wondering this as well.
How do people do martial arts with an ostomy?
This was asked in
this topic, and I agree with the answer below:

You know, surgeons tend to "oversell" this ostomy stuff.
If you're into contact karate just imagine what one good kick or punch to your pouch would result in. Armor or not.
Just don't think it's doable, really. Am I wrong?Hi,
Greg here from Australia. I've had a ostomy since December 2018 & although it took some time, I am able to actively train in martial arts again. I've been training in the Korean art of Hapkido since 2002. I have had to modify some of my training, but 2 weeks ago I was able to fall out of a hip throw for the first time since before I had the first surgery. I can't begin to tell you how much joy it brought me. I love training and can't imagine my life without martial arts. I also train at the gym 6-7 days a week (cardio\/weights) and I intend to do so until the Good Lord calls me home. I am about
to purchase a "stealth belt". I heard about
the product on another post here regarding training with a stoma. And at some point I want to take up BJJ again, but for now it's hapkido & gym work
