Ah i get it- Hunger Games!

Yes! I did get approved for continued care but they said they don't pay medical bills submitted from the docs. They will only reimburse me. I was talking to the woman on the phone and said...just to clarify, u know I'm having surgery and this isn't an office visitor. Anything I'm looking to bill. She said yes, but thats the policy. How does that even make sense?!!

So I have a new primary doc set up for Friday- need it for the pre-op. Also been feeling really nauseous the past 3-4 days so I guess it's good I'm going to see someone.

I also have a request in for a new surgeon. He only takes referrals so my gastro (who recommended him) sent over my paperwork. He'll look over my case and decide if he wants to take me on. It's such a process isn't it?!?

My ileo is named Bubbles . Cause she makes cute bubble sounds . I love her . She saved my life .

Mine is named Bert, like a weird little brother. I love him but sometimes he is gross and annoying turn

Mine is called Pepe! I named him on a day that he was being particularly active and peppy!

His full name is Pepe Roma, because he sort of looks like a weird little Roma tomato! smile

Named my guy Montezuma. His friends call him Monty. I'm with you SugarMarie. I love my little guy. Thanks to him and a "little" help from my excellent surgeon, I can live again.

I really don't have a name for mine but on occasion I'll call it Stumpy. Usually when it's being too active with liquid output when I try and change the appliance because I didn't eat enough thickening foods the night before I change the bag.

Only have Stumpy for another month. Surgery to put him back where he belongs will occur after Thanksgiving. (For some reason I refer to the stoma in the male sense even though I'm a female.) I've only had Stumpy for 6 months and he's been really good to me. Only a couple of minor blockage issues due to bad food choices and no leaks or bad irritation. I've been truly lucky with my stoma. My doctors and nurses all say I have a beautiful stoma.

Irma. After the hurricane because both arrived on the same day. Maybe naming after a volcano would have more suitable but, shape wise, a hurricane is a good match. She's a great gal and is giving me back my energy and mobility.

I agree with it being a life saver. I still don’t loooive mine but she’s helpful. My nurses said I had a cute little stoma but I didn’t appreciate how cute and tiny it is until I got home and got more comfortable with it.

Stella is going bye-bye in 4 days!!!!

Rudolph cuz hubby says he looks like the reindeer. That was when he was clean from a nice warm shower. When he gets dirty i call him Winnie the Poo.
