It all started with me being diagnosed with colon cancer in 2016, I was 29 years of age. Ok had the surgery done. Doctors said it was stage 1 and they cleared it all. Had to have a ostomy bag placed (which I still have). A few months later, one mourning I urinated blood, didn’t think anything of it but it was surprising. Didn’t follow up on it until i seen it for the second time that same day. Went to get it checked out, found out I had a tumor on my bladder. Did surgery for that ti get removed, now the doctors moved my stage of cancer to four. They put me on chemo for a few months. After that they gave me a PT scan that showed I had another tumor on a different part of my bladder(this is all in 2017) age 30. They set me up for another surgery that was for the removal of the tumor plus get reversed. I wake up in recovery to find out they didn’t do the reversal because they said they saw a tumor between my rectum and pelvis. Ok so we came to an agreement to do some radiation plus chemo to shrink or kill it. After my sessions of both chemo and radiation was complete, we did another PT scan. The showed that the tumor shrunk and is showing no activity. I completed both chemo and radiation in November of 2017. They gave me a break to let my body recover so I can do another session of chemo.
Now January of this year hits, and there is nothing really coming out my ostomy bag. But everything is coming out my rectum! I found that odd plus annoying. I’m going to the bathroom at least 10 times a day. Can’t get a good nights sleep because i’m waking up every two hours to go to the bathroom. I’ve mentioned it to my surgeon and doctor but it seems they are not giving me a clear answer besides thats where my tumor is basically located at and thats why it’s happening . They want me to finish the chemo, but i don’t feel comfortable or safe doing it. Can SOMEONE,ANYBODY give a answer on this that knows more to it or experienced this. It’s painful on my rectum, I can’t eat a decent meal because i’m going right to the bathroom in between eating. My lower back where my tailbone is located be killing me. It be hard for me to stand for a certain amount of time. I think its from the radiation and where the tumor was targeted at, but I some more detail on this PLEASE!
