Emergency stoma advice

Hi all,
I’m a carer and one of my clients was rushed for emergency surgery after having severe pain, and a large blockage found in her small bowel, and has now had an ileostomy.
She was so very poorly but now her tummy is still ballooning. A CT scan has shown fluid build up in the bowel and stomach which is causing the pain, swelling and vomiting of biley green watery vomit.
It’s really distressing for all involved and we seem to be fobbed off by multiple Drs.
I just wondered if this is heard of.
