hey folks! Hope everyone is doing well- after nearly 4 years with my ileo, I've totally settled into a nice routine. I've been using Edgepark since surgery, & they've gotten pretty bad the past year or so, in terms of customer service. Good selection, fast shipping, but HORRIBLE customer service. Who do you guys use??? I forget the other "big" ones.... any feedback or suggestions, I'll appreciate. I may not bother changing, but definitely want to check out other supply houses. Thanks!!!

just out of curiosity EL, but what aspect of CS are you referring to ? we have to deal with ordering supplies for my son and at times it can be a bit frustrating -

I use Edgepark too and have had the same experience. I like their website, my items come fast and as long as I don't have to call them everything is great. I had a billing issue end of last year after I met my deductible and they still haven't corrected it. It's a mess. Thank goodness I'm not on a fixed income. I really feel for people that would be more dependent on their budget and correct billing!

me too!!! Exact SAME billing problem- I met my deductible, so my supplies are covered in full. Which we discovered at an order placed January 2017- now, I only order every 3-4 months, so by the next order I had forgotten about the zero balance due. Anyway- they wound up owing me over $500 & it took over 1 year to get it, numerous phone calls, every cust. svce. rep told me something different, etc. I remember ppl. sort of warning me about Edgepark before surgery, so thought I'd look into other suppliers. But... seems like we all use Edgepark?!?! I think there is another fairly big one called Sterling???

I'm using Byram Healthcare. They are in New Jersey. I've only placed 2 orders myself so far, but they are good to let me know what my insurance will cover (I always ask, "how many of this am I allowed...?") and the box has arrived very quickly.

I too use EdgePark and have the same concerns ..... but the supplies come so quickly, I'm not changing. I used to use Bruce Medical Supply - from Massachusetts. Good service https://www.brucemedical.com

Hi Eva! I use Edgepark. I've been on Medicare going on seven years now. When I place my orders, Edgepark always asks how many days supplies I have left. I realize it isn't Edgepark, but Medicare who is a pain in the tush. I never had a problem with my former insurance carrier. I order every three months and make certain I have an order going in the end of December, because by the end of March I usually have met my deductible. Did you ever get a gander what Edgepark charges for the ostomy bags? It's outrageous!!!

Byram, that's another one I've heard of- Bruce Medical, huh? JMhis34- why did you switch from them? I live in MA too... I guess I will most likely stick with Edgepark- sort of "the devil you know..." situation. But it's a pain to have to call in your orders, to make sure you're not getting charged, etc. I will look at Byram's website though, see if they're comparable. I don't order anything unusual, just your typical Hollister stuff, some Eakin seals, etc.

I keep saying I'm going to switch but don't want to deal with getting it all setup.

One company I am thinking about trying is Prism Medical Products. Small company. They only do phone orders. I like ordering on a website which is why I have stayed with Edgepark. Although when things are wrong I have to call anyways!!

Edgepark says my 11/20 overpayment should finally be refunded next week. Not sure why it's been 3 months!!
