Swimming or Bathing with an Ileostomy

Are there any products out there that will keep my ostomy skin barrier and pouch completely dry when swimming or bathing?

Try sure seals and the stealth belt.

They have waterproof tape you can purchase. I used to put a clear bag (like the kitchen storage kind) and secure it with waterproof tape. No leaking whatsoever.

I went into the hot tub a few times last week and no leaking I was using a hollister 2 piece. Just blow dried it afterwards.

I use Sure Seal Ring seals around my ostomy. It does a good job of keeping water from getting in under the wafer

Press and seal works great for bathing.

Also remember to stay hydrated especially if you will be in a hot tub..
