Hi everyone-
I hope everyone is doing well. I'm just back from vacation. I did really well away from home. I even climbed the waterfalls in Jamaica, which was quite a climb. Strange foods didn't bother me. I WENT just fine. I brought my own Charmin Ultra!!!! There's nothing quite like you OWN bathroom, is there?
I suffer occasionally from butt burn too. I am a new fan of the Calmoseptine ointment. I use lidocaine ointment and prep H gel, but Calmoseptine is the best by far.
For those who don't know me, I'm the 5% risk they warn you about. Total colectomy->herniation->perforation ->peritonitis->ileostomy->ileostomy reversal! But today, I am doing well, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I am 5 1/2 months out from my last of the 3 surgeries and I eat anything, I've got my energy back, I GO everyday. My only complaints are butt burn, harder clean-up(wipeage), splatter, stinky fa*ts, and I need a better bathroom fan. Other than that, I'm happier than (you know where this is going, right?) a pig in POO!
I'm a lot healthier too. I don't feel so full of toxic waste like I did before. I do feel like I need a biohazardous waste sticker on my bathroom door though.
I'm at work, trying not to have to work. But duty calls.
Love to all,
Cathy
