It's totally normal and I found that time, more than anything else, helped resolve the problem. As your small intestine gets used to it's new job, the gas will start to go away and eventually probably only build up at nighttime. You can certainly try things like Beano...I tried but it didn't really make a difference for me, but I might have given up on it too quickly. Things like cammomile tea really helped me, or even peppermint tea; they are great for getting rid of gas. Hope you feel better soon.
