bag questions

alright, so almost 3 weeks with this thing and i've noticed a couple things.

a) the filter seems to plug up from the inside the same day the bag is installed

b) as the bag fills up, the area above the flange (where the filter is) gets pulled forward, pushing your shirt out and making the bag more noticeable.

any thoughts on how to solve these issues?

i was thinking maybe folding over the area above the flange and taping it down with some medical tape.  this could prevent stool from plugging up the filter and also that area wouldn't get pulled forward as the bag fills up?

does anyone do anything different or have other suggestions?

well i tried folding the area above the flange over, towards the stoma and taped it down. filter has since plugged up a bit, but it's still letting gas out. also doing this keeps the bag from pulling itself outwards as it fills up, so i'm happy with these results!

i'll try the belt idea too, thanks

i don't know how to better explain it then that the filter still gets plugged up tho, just takes a bit longer..
