Has anyone used and if so were you satisfied, with their Assura 2-piece drainable pouch with EasiClose Outlet?

I use the one piece Coloplast drainable pouch with the Easiclose Outlet and find it the most comfortable, most reliable bag I've ever used. However, everyone's skin is different and it may not work so well for you.

can't say i'm a fan. their flanges just didn't want to stick to me! my stoma is on a roll of fat (LOL) (6'1" 189lbs) so it needs to curve, and the coloplast just kept lifting off. hollister new image with tape works fabulous though.

I highly recommend the Coloplast Assura two-piece drainable EasiClose pouches and Extended Wear flanges. After my ileostomy surgery in Feb. '06, the ostomy nurse gave me a two-month supply of them. They worked so well, that I've never tried anything else. The adhesive is so good on the flange, that I only have to change it once a week. I can also spend hours swimming in a pool, and the adhesive still stays on. Maybe it's because they are Extended Wear. Anyway, I'm so confident with it staying on, that I'm going to spend all day at a waterpark tomorrow and have absolutely no worries! I agree with Shaz that everyone's skin is different, but I would definitely give them a try. Good luck!

Thank you all for your comments. There are so many options that it is difficult making a decision.

And, as everyone has mentioned, you can call the companies (mine's Edgepark) and they will send you samples. I like the hollister new image too! I have to change it not because it starts peeling but since it's fabric and it's summer, I get sweaty and can smell it! (bout every 4-6 days)
