Hello Scici,
Welcome to HealingWell forums!
Sounds like you have had a rough go of it for a little while like many of us... there is light at the end of the tunnel.
I cannot say that I ever had a pancreatic issue before, during or after surgeries so I won't be able to help you with that question. However, I am very familiar with the drugs you are taking for the blood clot. 2 years ago, my mom had blood clots in her lungs (lung cancer, radiation, chemo), and she was on the same drug regimen. I gave her the shots. It worked for her.
I did have a temp. ileostomy for a few months after one of my resections "to allow the intestine to heal". Of course, I was only 17 at the time and was sure I would NEVER have to have a perm. ostomy. I made it to age 24 when all went downhill and the ileostomy saved my life. I've had multiple surgeries prior to perm. ileostomy --- none since then.
There is a ton of very helpful information on this forum, and going back and reading the stories and posts is really educational - it was for me, I know. And there are so many nice, truly caring, knowledgeable people on this forum.... feel free to ask ANY questions. I'm sure someone will have the answer for you. Again, welcome.
