Hi Everyone:

I've got to share this with those who will understand. I am having some extensive dental work done. Now, I'm an accountant and my time around now is very limited so once I'm in the chair I want the Dentist to plow right along and get it finished. Well, today I had a marathon session, nearly two hours and it started right after breakfast. I'm sure you guessed it by now, I had a huge bulge you know where. When he finished I ran out of the room with the "bib" still on grabbed the key for the bathroom and did what I had to do. When I returned to the front desk everyone was mum but I could only guess what they thought!

Another day in the life of an ostomate.

I am so grinning in agreement. Learned my lesson.... I don't eat big meals before dental appts!!! I snack and that's it!!

Yeah I just love it when mine decides to make noises and it's not like you can easily disguise it either, but I've heard their stomachs growl too. Everyone in the office knows what I've had to go through because my best friend is the receptionist there, so I just let it go!

lol, that's pretty funny. I worried alot about that when i went to the dentist the first time after my surgeyr. But you have to tell them if you ahve had surgeries so they know i had it. I was laying there, terrified it was gonna make all kinds of noise, and all of a sudden i hear this awful sound, and look up, and the dentist was laughing. It was his stomach growling! and i had thought it was me, lol.
