Well that was so not fun!

so thursday night, pretty late, like 11 or so i took a shower and changed my bag.  Well i get everything done, the same way i always do.  And then i come out and do some stuff, and lay down about 1.  Well i am laying there and i kind of had to pee but was trying to fight it cause i was almost asleep, you know how that is.  Finally though i decided to give in, i got up, didn't put my glasses on or even shut the bathroom door, get in there go to use the bathroom and i have leaked everywhere!  i hadn't even smelled, or felt it. So i go get my glasses, and shut the door. And i am looking all over  before i take it off trying to figure out where it leaked from, changed the thing, examined it again, trying to figure out where it leaked from, all i could figure was that i didnt' have it snapped on good.  usually i snap and resnap about 20 times, but i hadn't done that before. It looked like it had come out of the side, so i am thinking that when i laid down, it went to that side and cameout.  So user error there, lol.  But anyway, it's now like almost 2, cause i went ahead and put my clothes in the wash and all, and i of course didnt have a supply box ready, so i had to dig around in my stuff, half asleep took forever. and i was so paranoid after that. I spend the first half of yesterday constantly checking to make sure it was ok.

My husband was up cause he works third and i went and told him i was paranoid,and he was like that's once in over a year right, quit being worried, lol

actually i never had that happen before surgery, well only twice, both times at the hosptial because i got tangled in the iv lines.
i didn't actually wash them wash them, which would have made more sense than washing them out in the sink to get the stuff out, i actually just threw my undies away, then putting the stuff in the machine, and bleaching the sink from where i washed them out. I didn't even think, until just now, that i should have just put them in there and washed them, lol.. I was really glad that i was sleeping on that pad that i always sleep on, otherwise i might have had to change all the bed, i couldn't tell for sure if it had gotten on the actual pad, but i thought i would go ahead and wash it anyway.

Summer, you should be a stand up Comedian!! The visual of you getting all tangled up in your IV lines has me ROFL!!
