Hi guys, I have a question and possible dilema. As written before, I had a colectomy with ileostomy in 2005. I had no problems and was not on any meds. Now the crohn's has returned to my stoma and ileum. My G.I. won't return my call, so my primary doc put me on 50mg of prednisone and 800mg of asacol three times a day. I started them yesterday evening. I took them this morning all seemed fine, but my afternnon dose of asacol went through me whole and I found both pills in my bag about
1 hour after I took them. I am wondering now if I am absorbing the steroids or not. Has anyone had this? Does anyone else have any problems absorbing medication?
Any suggestions would be helpful!!
