ways to help ostomies (wafers) last longer

this is what I do.
I take the old one off and get a new one, I put paste around the wafer opening where the stoma goes through, then I spray the wafer with medical adhesive spray and then I also spray my skin where the wafer goes, I wait until it gets sticky and then put the wafer on, I hold it there for a few minutes to make sure it sticks well. My wafer last for about a week maybe a few days longer.
