Today has been a much better day. I've felt better in general. And my out put is finally slowing down!! I'm so glad. And I've never been happier for it to have a smell again
It's not that bad, it just didn't stink when it was constantly flowing.
My PT is actually high (4.1-it's supposed to be 2-3) so no more lovonox shots. Woo Hoo!!! And it's a good thing b/c my hips are VERY bruised. They look like I've been hit by a car, on each side. and they keep bleeding spontaneously. Side effect of blood thinners. Kind of scary. Still don't know the results of my clotting panel, so I'm still hoping blood thiners are temporary.
BUT I am having these sharp pains in the middle of the night that won't go away until I get up. Sit or stand. "on a pain scale from 1-10.." They're about
a 7. So they scare me. and my back is hurting too. I worry that when I lay down, the clot cuts of out flow to certain places and that is causing pain.....Idon't know......My Dr. said she she thought it could probably be scare tissue forming, but didn't feel comfortable not ordering another CT scan. So I gotta get another one. That'll be 4 in the last month. They don't bother me, but that is a bunch of radiation (or so I've been told).
I'll glad to make sure the clot is going away and there aren't more (I doubt there would be b/c my blood is OBVIOUSLY thin). But every time I get one, I think they won't find anything, and they do (abscesses and clot), sooo fingers crossed.
The ct scan probably won't be tomorrow (at least that's what the really RUDE radiology nurse said)
So I'll keep you posted-I hope you guys aren't getting sick of hearing about
my "stuff." It's nice to have others who can relate to this stuff, who listen and care (or be really good at pretending to care
)
