playing games with myself?

my first surgery is Mar 2

In meantime, the number of stools have reduced significantly from 12/day to 3-5/day since mid Dec. They are all liquid but I am able to sleep the night for most part. I remain on five mg pred and twelve asacol. I also get "tired" (what I call body inflammation) by end of day if I don't take it easy. There is no quality of life with the tiredness, I grant you. And I have eye inflammation which makes it hard to see (blurry) and I wonder if this is something other than the inflammatory process of my colon. No eye doctor or GI has ever said my eyes were result of colon inflammation. But the low no. of stools and very little discomfort now is so refreshing.

You think I'm getting well? Last sigmoid showed polyps which were caused by inflammation acc to pathologists. I was awake during sigmoid and actually saw numerous polyps. Could these go away now that I'm not on the clinical trial drug.

Am I playing mind games? ...like denial. It's like I think "Maybe I don't need to have colon out since my number stools have reduced significantly. Why should I throw away my colon if it is getting well" Did anyone play these games?
