bag popped off

I'm trying out a 2 piecer. The sensura click is one of the samples they sent and I'd heard that lots of people like them. RIght?
I went to feel it to see how it was and if I needed to empty.
There was no bag. Only the wafer and poop all over.
It somehow came off while I was asleep. I don't know why. I was only in bed for about 2 hours. and I hadn't moved much. I was on my back. The only thing I can think of is when I pulled off some blankets b/c the pred. was making me sweat.
Not Cool. A big mess.
This is one strike against the two piece system.
Does this happen often? Has anyone had it happen?

The one piece leaked, but only under the wafer.

that has that funny clip closure, right?...those closures are really difficult to get used to...you really have to make sure they are on correctly...they're not easy to "burp" either.

Oh, I'm sorry, that is so yucky when it happens all over the bed. I use a 2 piece, and so far have never had a pouch snap off, when a leak happens it is always under the wafer. And actually, the only time I had leaks was when I was not yet realizing I needed a convex vs flat wafer.

hey chas, if its the clicking type it definitely is a rookie mistake. i had my bag come off in target! with no spares! when i was going swimsuit shopping! but i got through it...definitely make sure it snaps, and i pull mine away from the skin after i snap it, its the best/easiest way to make sure its on tight

I tried to get it on good last night, but I did have a really hard time. I think the bag was funked. B/c this other bag was much easier and i do hear it click. I still pressed really hard all the way around to make sure (which I don't love b/c I still feel bruised up on my abdomen).

But now I'm paranoid.
I was having "show and tell" at work-I'm a vet tech and we are a small clinic and they all want to see the new poop show and I don't care (we're like a little family). They are genuinly facinated with how this actually can work. And we see poop all day, so they have tough tummy's.

So I was excited to show off my new little friend and glad I had on a two piece so I could show them the stoma. it even pooped for them. there were Oooooohhhs and Aaaaahhhhhs all around

The point: I have since been reaching down to make sure it's clicked all day.

Plus one for the two piece. now they're even again.

oh yeah, I called the coloplast people and told them what happened last night and they are now going to send me even more bags.

Maybe I live off samples

Put a little shampoo on the tip of your finger and run it around the round flange of the faceplate. That will make it snap on easier; or simply wet your finger and rub it on a bar of soap. That'll work as well.
