Hi!! I have crohn's d now for 20 years--and a lovely colostomy for 12 years. My question is how can you tell if you have a stricture or if you have narrowing of the itestine. I know what a blockage feels like but this is different. For one my stoma is always in the ready to poop position (she never wants to relax lately) then my stools will start out small and thin and after about
half hour--BAM the explosion happens!!! POO Galore. Sometimes my stomach will contract!! Hard and painful 1 minute and soft the next!! Anyone ever feel the same?

well I have an ileo now, but when I was still "complete" and had a stricture my poo was rather pencil like and I had a lot of pain in my abdomen. You definitely have something going on...have you called you doc?
