So I saw my surgeon this afternoon and they moved my surgery date up d/t my ever shrinkin and retracted stoma and skin breakdown. I am scheduled for the reversal Sept. 28.....24 days. I am sick with nerves and hope this is the last surgery ever!!!!

Thanks for all your support. I am sure I will need over the next 3 weeks as I scare myself away from doing this....

Lizzie I am so glad you have a date soon. I am sure you are scared but I am sure the surgery will be worth it and you will feel better. We will pray that everything goes well and it will be your last surgery! Try not to let your nerves get the better of you. I am trying real hard not to let mine get the best of me but I know it is hard sometimes.

Lizzie-Wow! I don't blame you for being nervous----

I am awaiting my reversal date. I just had my pouchogram yesterday and seeing the surgeon Wednesday for results. I am hoping he will set the date. I have also had really bad skin issues- fighting a serious fungal rash for past 3 weeks. So even though I am nervous, I am anxious to move on to next step (hopefully last step) of recovery.

I wish you the best...

Congrats Lizzie! You're going to do great! I had the nerves too...it's got to be normal!

I hope this will be your last surgery EVER! and that you'll go the rest of your long life with your insides staying inside.
