Is this normal??

I had my ileostomy in late June due to UC which was a result of taking Augmentin for too long which resulted in c-diff and then in UC that went to organ shut down. It was an emergency ileo and probably permanent but life saving. Ever since I have had this ileo I feel like I need to have a BM, kind of like a turd is setting on my rectum and when I have to pee it is worse. This morning I went to the bathroom and I actually had some stool colored liquid come out of my rectum and it has been bothersome all day with the feeling that I have to go poop. My ostomy has been fine and working like it always does but this other stuff really concerns me. Of course it is the weekend and all the doc are off so I can't call anyone. Has anyone else had this experience? I checked on C3Life and they all said it was normal to have the sensation for up to a year but to go that long without anything coming out to this morning 5 months seems strange to me. I did have the mucous discharge for about a month after the surgery which I know is normal but is this normal?

Thanks Shaz I've heard that it is normal but when it gets worse somedays it makes we wonder. I told my husband that it is the most uncomfortable feeling walking around feeling like you have to poop all the time. Can't wait until it is gone.

I'm 8 weeks post jpouch surgery and I get the sensation to poop daily and mucous comes out most of the time. I was also told this is normal and can last up until my reversal!
