Immodium; Beano GasX

I've been reading lately and tried the immodium for the 1st time yesterday when I had an eye docs appt. It seemed okay all afternoon and last night I had dinner and "privey" didn't work until this afternoon. I didn't go to bed until late because my belly ached and then when I woke up I had some gas but not tons and I didn't wake up at night to have to empty. I layed down about 11 a.m. and rested and the gas continued and when I went to burp privey I had a formed stool in my ileo bag. I mean it was formed to the extent that is didn't break up falling into the toilet. Is this normal??? Should this happen? I took maybe a total of 4 immodium in the course of two days and two gas X. Before I tried this stuff I just used beano and it really doesn't do very much. Anything you can share would help... Thank you

I use the convatec convex wafers and pouches with the filter and it doesn't work too well either but it stays on me better than the Hollister does. My output is usually very watery and I was experimenting because I knew I would be away for several hours and thought if it would slow down a bit and not be so gassy it would be nice to see if the Immodium and gas X worked. I was shocked when my privey actually spit out a formed turd I hadn't seen that for months...kinda of startled me.

Thanks Summer I think it'll be my new rule of thumb too. Do any of you take beano???
