Hello, I am new to this site and I to have beeen suffering from severe constipation for 10 years ever since I had my gallbladder removed. i have been to 4 or 5 different GI doctors and have had at least 8 CT scans, upper GI, endoscopy, 2 colonoscopy's,andd always told everything is fine. I have been on every laxitive known and still Doctors continue to tell me I'm fine. Recently I went to a new GI doctor at the Borland Groover Clinic and let me tell you I think I hit the jack pot with him. He really listened to me and told me that I am not crazy and that I probably have a gastric moblity problem. he ordered me new test- MRCP- Mri of the bile duct also he ordered stitz marker testing. I am to have my MRCP test on 3-23 and the stitz marker test on 3-29. My Question is : If it does show that my colon is not working properly and i have to have surgery generly what type of surgery do the perform?
