Wrestlers/Grapplers/Martial artists.

It's looking real likely that I'm going to get a permanent colostomy bag and I was wondering if anyone here has one and continues to train in martial arts? Specifically , I'm looking for grapplers and wrestlers and that sort of practitioner. I had been taking Brazilian jiu-jitsu before this last flare and haven't been able to train for many months now. I'm hoping at least one person can tell me that it's doable . Some doctor's have said they think I could resume training but I'd , honestly , feel better if I heard it from someone who actually does it . Anyone?..Thanks in advance to anyone who does train and can give me some optimism.

You know, surgeons tend to "oversell" this ostomy stuff.

If you're into contact karate just imagine what one good kick or punch to your pouch would result in.  Armor or not.

ok i did just look at that, and all that is is like something hard to go over your actual stoma. I dont see how that would make much of a difference.
