Recap:
I was in the hosp. in Feb. this year for pain, and they don't really know what caused it. I think it was the sit-ups that I was doing. The part of my intestine that was inflamed was the stoma. So, it makes since to me that the sit-ups would damage that part, because the abdominal muscles are surrounding it.
Well, on Tues., I broke my foot. I fell down ONE stair going into my garage, and fell. I stepped down wrong, and my foot rolled, and *snap*. I knew it was broken right away, because I heard the snap. (5th metatarsal on left foot-called a Jones Fracture for anyone who's had a broken foot)
So, now I'm on crutches. I hate them. Anytime I have to move anywhere, I have to will my muscles to go, because they are just exhausted. My arms, my right leg/foot/hip, my hands, shoulders, and my abs. On the days that I've to get around a lot (most days), and my abs are beat, my stoma is too. It hurts. It feels like tiny little painful pricklies all over the stoma every time it out-puts. And, I get diarrhea. This is the same thing that happened when I was admitted to the hosp. So, now I KNOW it has to do with abdominal muscles exercising.
And, I'm worried it might be damaging the stoma. It looks fine though.
weird huh.
