Really Sick from bowel prep!

OMG, I am so sick and nauseas from the bowel prep, moviprep! I drank half of the 1st container and just couldn't drink it...I just can't get it down! So, I took dulcolax and switched over to miralax. I am so nauseas I can't drink another drink of anything...not water, nothing. If I drink another sip of something, I am going to barf....what am I going to do? I am having liquid poop, a yellowish color, but still pieces of stool in the liquid. I have been working on the clean out all week due to the colonic inertia. I feel just awful and think I am going to vomit any minute! What am I supposed to do?

That didn't take long! If you are going yellow water poop with just a few flecks of real poop in it, I think it's OK (unless a ton is lurking somewhere)...I would say you are done. In colonoscopies if you have just a few flecks of poop left in you they can just spray them away. If in doubt, just call the answering service and have the doc call you. If you have gone a ton, and this is all that's left, I think you're OK.

When I've done the bowel prep I've had two really bad experiences - one I was vomiting - I hadn't eaten anything in 2 days so they weren't as concerned. I had to stop drinking it because I just couldn't keep it down.

The other time was that it didn't start working for 6 hours. I was EXTREMELY bloated and I called the advice nurse. They called me back about half an hour later when it finally started working. I got about 2 hours of sleep that night.

I'd sleep some of it off - try an enema or two (depending on how many it takes your bowels normally). Drink water when you can.
