Hey everyone My name is Jessie and I recived "Stomy" on April 12. I was born with a rare digsitive disorder and I had 7 surgerys. My last on I recived a Ileostomy. I am devestaed annd can't find a support group in my area. I feel so alone and like I have no control over my body. I went from never going to ithe bathroom to pooping in my sleep. I really hate it. I feel as if everyone can see it. I am also Bipolar and my medications are not absorbing like they are supposed to. I am on TPN becasue my stomach will not empty. All I consume is J-ELLO & applesauce. I am so tired and depressed. Everyone tells me that it will get better but jI don't see the light at the end of the tunnel. Please Help!!!

Wow....2 and a half months???? It takes time! Im 7 months out and feel GREAT!
Your NOT alone, there are a ton of people with ostomies!!! The best part? No one can tell you have one. People are always amazed when they find out ( I tell EVERYONE) about mine.

I'm sorry you are having such a difficult time, and I hope you see some improvement soon. People probably can't tell you have one. Even mine which filled up constantly and was very noticeable to me wasn't noticed by others
