We are all different so it's hard to say what will happen to you...if you have quality of life right now, you may want to finish school, then think about the reversal...but know that it may delay your entry into the 'real world'!! Each person wants to know that they've done EVERYTHING possible to get there life back. Is the Remicade working to close the fistulas?
I had horrible perianal disease with many fistulas which were not affected by my temporary ileo...when it was reversed they acted up again:( I now have a permanent ileo, I am MED FREE and couldn't be happier with my quality of life.
I know that it isn't easy being young, going to school, trying to be normal and having this disease. Just know that the right guy is out there...many of us have found ours...the right one will love you for who you are and not run away because of your modified plumbing! Hang in there!
What specifically shows under your clothes? I can wear anything that I want (except really low jeans cus I'm old!) and that includes bathing suits and gym clothes...no one knows that I have an ileo until I tell them:) Maybe some of the younger posters can give suggestions:)!
