My surgeon, although terrific, never explained to me what to expect while on the mend.
For the last week or so I have been getting, for lack of a better term, sticking pains in the rectum. Well, I have no rectum so guess it is in the anus? They really aren't THAT painful, just some discomfort and they come and go. Could this be from internal stitches? Just my luck that I didn't have this when I went for my post op visit on the 5th of Aug.
I want to add that I really feel great and I mentioned to my husband this morning at breakfast that it's sooooo wonderful to be able to make plans again. Hubby has been my rock and he's been so understanding and patient. For the last two years life with me must have been very trying. I don't even think I could live with me.
