So im going in for my next surgery everybody told me after this if i want to keep the bag that i get one more or so surgerys and can keep it. idk why they wont let me extend my time with the bag from the 1st surgery because i gonna miss 2-3 months of school but im just doing what the doctor tells me. already did pre-op go in for surgery tuesday fun. cant wait to spend about 15 days there. jk.

well at-least either way im one step closer to being all good again. "even tho im fine right now heh.."

I am a parent myself. I think I understand why your parents push you to another surgery. They want you to be 'normal' and look 'normal' soon. They also want to give you the best care you'd need when they are still young. Besides, medical expenses can be a huge sum if without insurance.

well i wish it had worked out for you the way you wanted, but i hope you get through your surgery quickly and heal fast!

I wish you all the luck and hope for a quick recovery. Try not to be too hard on your parents...they truly want to only see the best for you and, by what you say, are following the recommendations of your doctor. This will all be over before you know it. My 18 year old son, Dillon, left yesterday for University. It really feels like yesterday that he was recovering from his first surgery. He now has a great functioning J pouch, is completely healthy, has put on 30 lbs and is enjoying his life so much ...in my eyes maybe too much...lol ..
