I hope you start feeling better and are you sure it is the pasta ? as I always considered pasta a soft food anyway. I guess it depends on what you put on it or what is in it. I just eat mine plain or with a touch of fat free Italian dresssing to give it a hint of flavor.
Sorry you got the cramps so bad from the Reglan. I am blessed that I can tolerate it. I have had to take it a couple of times since I got home. I have slowed down a bit the last few days myself and am trying to figure out whay as I keep a food journal and have not really chnaged all that much with how much or what I am eating.
I am thinking my gut (what is left of it ;-) lol is slowing down or tightening up because of the stress at work as it was not until I came back to work on Monday that I satrted noticing my elimination slowing down and have had to take the Reglan. I sure hope this does not keep up.
I didn't go after dinner last night and only a little after I ate this morning and normally I am going within about 20 minutes after each time I eat. Will see what happens after lunch today. It has to be from the job stress ! and I hope it does not continue because I don't feel good and get crampy unless I go each time after I eat.
I hope your period will be over soon and will be interested to see if you return back to your normal patterns afterwards so you will know for sure that is what has happened and can brace for next month or let your doc know. Perhaps half a Reglan would work without too much cramping ? Might want to see what your MD has to say about it all before your next cycle !
Coffee used to help me although I am not a big coffeee drinker. I have a bathroom right near my office and I will try some after I eat lunch if I don't go on my own as I left my Reglan at home and don't want to use it unless I absolutely have to. If I do try the coffee I will let you know what happens ! lol ;-)
I am with you re wanting to work out again. It is taking all I have in me just to get up early and the whole process of getting ready for work ie showering, doing my hair and make up, getting dressed, packing my lunch, and then the drive to work - wears me out and then I am looking at a 8-10 hour day once I get to the office.
This is my first week back and I am struggling to get through it. The doc aid I could have 2 more weeks off but no one knows how to do my job and my work was backed up enough already just with me being out only two weeks.
I can go clothes shopping for tops, but I have lost so much weight I don't want to waste any $ on pants and skirts until I stabolize at just ONE size ! and hoepfully a healthier and near normal weight. I am really going to have to work to tone up as I can't believe how much not just weight but inches and muscle I have lost.
It is hard to gain when you have to eat small meals and I don't eat junk food, breads, or red meat. I just try to take it one day at a time and get enough calories in each day. I looked at some older pics when I was at a healthier weight and I looked sooo much better !
Well let me know when you finally make it through your period and how you do today after you back off the pasta. I will be thinking about you and praying for you and will let you know if I have to try the coffee or not ! If I can't go after lunch I may try to hold off until I can get home and take a Reglan then. Will let you know when I have time to write back later.
