Help with EZ Vents

First you need to clean an area at the top of your pouch with 91% alcohol. Give it a minute to dry. Then stick the EZ vent onto the cleaned pouch. If you have a two piece pouch make an opening in the pouch where the vent hole is. If a one piece, like me, pull the EZ vent down to where you can make the opening in the pouch at the vent through the stoma opening. You just need to fold the vent cap over to close it. When you have gas in the pouch just open the cap and let it out.

The vent goes on the front of the pouch, away from your skin. I put it on so the cap opens up, not down, but you can probably do either. Be sure about the 91% alcohol. Do not use the little pre moistened towels. The hardest part is making the opening in the plastic bag. You have to make the opening with tiny scssors through the stoma opening.
