I'm not really sure how many times I'm going - last night I only got up twice, which was pretty good for me. During the day maybe 8 or 9? That will slow down eventually. I'm on the GI-soft diet but there are actually a lot of foods you can eat like chicken breasts, pancakes, mashed potates, vegetables (as long as they are really cooked). My last meal at the hospital I had a couple of chocolate chip cookies on my tray. The main things you can't eat are raw vegetables, meats with casings, nuts, seeds, popcorn and fruits except bananas. That's for the first six weeks. It's not that bad. I could have cheese pizza but I've read the sauce can be irriatating so I haven't tried it yet. I had a large cup of hot chocolate last night and that didn't have any problems. Unfortunately, I have a sweet tooth.
