question for J pouchers

Hey everyone. Dillon has had bronchitis a couple of times this winter ( I think the first case never really cleared up) and has had two courses of antibiotics. For him, the amazing thing is that both times he was on antibiotics his bowel movements became almost like "normal colon, pre-UC days". He says he only had a BM about 3/ day (instead of ~6/day), could sleep right through the night and felt absolutely great. As soon as the antibiotics stopped he was back to ~6/day. Have any of the rest of you found this? I keep telling him to email his surgeon and see what she says but he has yet to do this.
