Blood on stoma

Im 4months post surgery and feeling great but i have been experiencing some blood on the stoma,at first i thought it was coming out of the stoma itself but when i take the bag off i can see little blood marks on him. Im a very keen runner and i get this after i run,today when i got home from running my bag nearly came off and had blood on my top,looked like id been shot. Its obviously connected to my running as it only happens when i run but some advice or reassurance would be nice.

I think it is the friction of the bag rubbing on the stoma, bit like joggers nipple. Not sure what the solution is but have seen a product that is a bag deodorant and lubricant as well. Don't know if that would be any use, but rec speaking to your stoma nurse as they should have come across it before.

mine bleeds when i change also, they bleed really easily sometimes i actually have blood in the bag after a change, its icky, lol.
if it only happens after runnign i would think its the friction too, maybe try wearing something tight around your middle, like a belly band to reduce movement

     I still have a bit of blood when I change bags.  I can see it on the tissue when I pat over it.  Not a lot, but definitely visible.  I don't worry about it.  If it bleeds a lot, where it is noticeable, I surely would contact the surgeon.

Cutting the hole too big will cause leaks. Make sure its the rightsize. I actually cut mine a tiny bit smaller
