anyone have to lie on stoma side to get effluent to move?

Sure hope there is nothing going on here. But tonight I had to lie specifically on my side with the stoma so poop would move out of it. This worked, but then there was this bad pain. Nothing seems to be stuck as all I have in me in some chocolate soft serve. Seems like that used to move out really fast. No nausea or anything and just had some hot tea and juice. Back to see if I can get some sleep. Odd development. Just wanted to see if others ever have to do this. Rosemary
