Well,
I guess this is life...HA! The home health nurse came by to help me change one more time and too look at my skin...I had put an EAkin seal on (six days ago!) to help my Hollister 'cut-to-fit' and everything worked great..Also, the nurse said my skin looked good, and I noticed the difference..
Anyway, put on new Eakin Seal and wafer and bag.....and thought, great....well, got in the van and went to the dollar store for a couple of goods....also, I put on an item of "support" from a certain company as well..got home and had to pee and looked at item of support (glad I did)..there was a line of yellow along the part that comes up next to the wafer...uh oh...
So, I looked at bag/wafer and saw what I thought was a pin hole leak in the bag? Is this possible? Anywya, changed bag....then, kept checking....had some "stuff" on the tape of the wafer and thought I would need to stop everything and change the wafer....however, I timed about
15 minutes to make sure the wafer was leaking, and nothing....so, I guess it remained from the pin hole leak?
This is very odd..the "item of support" had me bend the bag in half so it could fit in the internal pouch....also, the internal pouch has one side which comes up against the wafer (probably really tight with the seat belt on it)....
I'm typing this now and see no leak from the wafer, but am wondering if the bag would get a leak from something like this (it was brand new)?
Any life histories on this would be great to hear!
3 weeks and 1 day post surgery .....
Thanks! enigma
