Hey everyone,
Just an update on how I am doing about
5 and a half months post j-pouch surgery. This weekend was a huge milestone for me so I thought I'd share...
I went back to the motocross track!
I feel great and looking at my bike everyday was just killing me. I knew I was going to be very out of shape and get worn out extremely fast riding my dirt bike, but I had to go! I worked Saturday morning and went straight to the MX track from there. I got there, got all my stuff unpacked and got ready to get back on my bike after a year off it and 2 major surgeries.
My first day back on my bike was AMAZING! It felt so good to be back out there after what I have been through. I took 2 real easy laps and I was feeling surprisingly good so I went ahead and got a little more aggressive and everything went great, hitting doubles, triples, riding pretty fast sections, and it all felt really good!
I went straight to the lake after the track to spend the weekend with my family on our boat and THEN after riding MX actually rode and jumped the jet ski pretty wild... Anyways, I'm ridiculously sore right now, but absolutely no pain in my abdomen area whatsoever. I feel great and had to share my update with everyone as I have been itching to get back on my bike since my first surgery last July.
Here's some pics I took this weekend.... The second picture was much needed!
