Reversal pre-opscheduled for Dec.

i finally got my pre-op date in Dec. i am excited to see the light at the end of the tunnel. after going septic twice and having peritonitis twice, my dr said all looks good. he said if he cant go through the stoma site, he will go through my abdomen where my wound was located. he said there is only a slim chance i wil have the bag forever, so i was very happynto hear that.

me being me, i worry about what tje percentage of lim means. 5 pct? anyone wanna guesd?

my wife and i arebplanning a tip to disney world to celebrate if all goes well.

i cabt wait until january.

thanks for the advice, another uc wife. i know i need to relax but its tough when tjis whole situation should never have happened. a simple hernia repair almost took my life.

as for wdw, my dr said i will need a month off work and i will be ok to go in march. i am out of work anyway and if the reversal fails, i will never fly again. thats the tough part for me.

i know my chances are excellent for success but i worry about everything.

maybe when my wife and i goto wdw, we can see 80schick.
