I will be 6 weeks post-op J-pouch step two and I have a loop ileo. I've had discharge and mucous needing to be expelled out my rear quite a few times a day, but it seems to have gotten worse. All last night a new pain started right around and actually on my stoma itself. It didn't itch so I didn't think it was a leak. Its a soreness and sudden ache whenever my stoma would pass gas or stool. Wafer wasn't too tight as far as I could tell unless stoma really was swelling. I was up every 2 hours in the night to pass mucous. I feel nauseous and even after my pouch change this AM, the stoma/stoma area pain is still happening. I am passing stool through my ileo as well, but this am after wanting to go 2-3 times with nothing happening, I passed a good deal of stool out the old way! It's possible I know, but with all this other stuff, does it sound like the "normal loop ileo passing stool out the rear"?? I swear, it is always something. Thank you for all your wisdom in advance
